    False.

The phospholipid bilayer is the main component of cell membrane. It has a hyrodrophilic and hydophobic end. The phosphate groups are the hydrophilic end and the fatty acid tails form the hydrophobic tails. Hydrophilic are those regions which attract water whereas hydrophobic are those regions which are water-repellent.
