    Budding is a method of asexual reproduction in which outgrowth or bud due to cell division at one particular site ... Since the reproduction is asexual, the newly created organism is a clone and is genetically identical to the parent organism.

    cloning is the process of producing similar populations of genetically identical individuals that occurs in nature when organisms such as bacteria, insects or plants reproduce asexually
