DNA is a self replicating material which is present in almost all living organisms as the main constituent of chromosomes. It is also the carrier of genetic information.
DNA is located in the cell nucleus where it is called nuclear DNA.
And small amount of DNA can also be found in the mitochondria where it is called mitochondrial DNA.

DNA stands for deoxyribonucleic acid. it's located in the cell nucleus. DNA is the molecule that has the genetic code of organisms.
