Plants can be identified by specialized structures in their cells, let's take a look at an example of a specialized plant cell, chloroplasts:

a) What part of the plant would you expect to have the highest number of chloroplasts (leaf, stem, roots) ? Why?

b) Which months would you expect to find the highest number of chloroplasts in a given plant? Why?

    a) leaf have highest number of chloroplasts because they are in direct contact with the environment an they absorb sunlight. b) in march, april and may we expect to find the highest number of chloroplasts in a plant because there is an optimum amount of sunlight and more leaves as its spring in these months, number of leafs increases in plants
