"Half-life Theory" is not an idea for biogenesis.

    Answer: Option C

    Explanation:

"Biogenesis" is the phenomenon of lifeforms generating other lifeforms. Many theories has been originated on an idea of biogenesis like:

A potential life that may have existed externally to Earth and its origin do not lie on Earth such life is understood as "Extraterrestrial life". The spectrum of such life may have from simple prokaryotes or similar forms of life to beings with societies far more advanced than mankind, such views are given by "Extra-terrestrial theory". According to "the Primordial Soup theory" life origin in a water body like warm pond or ocean by chemical reactions or coordination that produces amino acids on making proteins. An evolutionary theory of the roots of eukaryotic cells from prokaryotic life forms is understood in "Symbiogenesis or endosymbiotic theory".

While "Half-life theory" is not based on the concept of biogenesis as Half-life is the time required for any amount of matter to get minimized to half of its initial value. In physics, theory is applied to understand radioactive decay while in medical sciences, biological half-life of drugs are studied in the life forms.
