Suggest why most plants die very quicky if their roots are cut off.

    The roots are the only connection to water, with out water, even if they have access to sunlight, they won’t be able to preform photosynthesis, which creates their food. They also won’t have water.

    Roots are the plants only connection to food and water without the stem it no longer has access to water and will eventually wither and dry out
