A polymer is comprised of repeating monomers that are connected to each other through dehydration synthesis reactions. What are the monomers of DNA (a polymer) ?

    The monomers of DNA are nucleic acids - the four in DNA are adenine, guanine, thymine, and cytosine - the A, C, G, and T of primary DNA structure.

    (You'll learn later that RNA swaps out thymine for uracil - U)
