What are the similarities between an onion and whitefish cells?

    The similarities between an onion and whitefish cell are in the process of mitosis. Mitosis has 4 stages and they all occur the same in plant cells ans animal cells. The 4 stages are prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase. In prophase condensation of chromosomes occurs while in metaphase the chromosomes move to the center of the cell and line up. In anaphase the chromosomes separate and finally two new nuclei begin to form in the telophase
