    The interstitial cells in the testes produce androgens such as testosterone hormone.

    Explanation:

    The interstitial cells are found in the testes of males. These cells are responsible for the production and secretion of androgens such as male hormone, testosterone.

    The release of control testosterone is under the control of luteinizing hormone (LH) which is secreted from pituitary.

    The hormone testosterone produced by interstitial cells, acts on sustentacular cells and it's function is to promotes spermatogenesis.
