A solution is a mixture of different substances
Explanation:
A solution is a homogeneous mixture of two or more substances. It consists of a solute and a solvent. For example in a solution in which carbon dioxide is dissolved in water, the water is the solvent and the carbon dioxide is the solute. Different types of solutions have solvents and solutes in different phases. Some examples of solutions are salt water, rubbing alcohol, and sugar dissolved in water.
