    Answer and explanation; Production of mRNA involves the process of transcription which involves copying of information from DNA, the the process is followed by RNA splicing which involves the removal of non-coding sequence known as introns. RNA splicing is similar to watching a television show that is on Netflix. That is; In watching a television show on Netflix, you watch segments of the show itself, this corresponds to exons or the coding sequences, and fast forward through the commercials, which are thus like introns, known as the - non-coding sequences.
