    Both has same stages.

    Explanation:

Both mitosis and meiosis has same stages i. e. prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase. Only difference is that in mitosis these stages occur only once while in meiosis it occurs twice. In mitosis, when the parent cell divides, two daughter cells are produced having double number of chromosomes, while in meiosis, when cell divides, four daughter cells are produced having half number of chromosome.

Both mitosis and meiosis are multistage processes. The stages are interphase, prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase. The same general processes occur in each of these stages for mitosis and meiosis. Interphase is cell growth and DNA replication in preparation for cell division.
