    Global warming is the progressive increase in the temperature of the earth's atmosphere. Global warming is caused by an increase in the concentration of greenhouse gases e. g CO2, chlorofluorocarbons etc. These greenhouse gases, in which carbondioxide is an important example, are capable of trapping heat in order to keep the earth warm.

    Howeever, as the concentration of CO2 and other greenhouse gases increase in the atmosphere, the earth's atmospheric temperature also increases above normal, causing Global warming.

    In this case, the science teacher's graph will show that global temperature is increasing as CO2 concentration increases.
