Do larger organisms have larger cells than smaller organisms, or more cells than smaller organisms?

    Larger organisms have smaller cells than small organisms. Large organisms are made up of many small cells such that there is an increase in the amount of surface area in comparison to volume. This gives the large organism a better chance at survival.
