There are multiple answers to this but one possible one could be that their population (they have the highest out of all countries) will grow immensely and they will have to increase food production and find more water sources once their current ones are exhausted. There will be an increase in their population density and they will have to build more homes and cities may become even more overcrowded than they are now. Everyone has a carbon footprint that tells how much they contribute to the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Therefore the more people China has, the more carbon footprints we will have worldwide and global warming will progressively get worse unless something drastic is done to combat it.
