There is a variation that exists in the fur color of rock pocket mice. This variation is a result of the change in sequence of DNA that occurred on the MC1R gene. The two different fur colors are results of

options:

A. a mutation.

B. a genetic disorder.

C. the volcano erupting.

D. the process of adaptation.

I think it is A mutation but i'm not sure.
