CITES which means The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora is an international agreement between governments who are dedicated to make sure that international trade in specimens of wild plants and animals does not negatively affect their survival.
The mission of CITES is to ensure that the trade of our environmental goods (wild animals and plants) are preserved, protected, and regulated through an international effort of evaluation, inspection, and regulation.
