The movement of vapor water molecules is drastically more spontaneous and erratic in comparison to their liquid counterparts. This is because a vaporized substance is much more volatile than its liquid state as molecules in gas form are more "agitated" and spread apart.

    Liquid molecules = condensed/controlled

    Gas molecules = Spread apart/uncontrolled
