Cellular respiration is a set of metabolic reactions and processes that take place in the cells of organsms to convert biochemical energy from nutrients into ATP, and then release waste products. Oxygen and glucose are both reactants in the process of cellular respiration. The main product of cellular respiration is ATP, waste products include carbon dioxide and water.
