The answer is (c.) a (alpha cells) in the pancreas will be producing glucagon.

When a person sleeps for more than eight hours, the alpha cells in the pancreas will start to produce glucagon. The glucagon is responsible for the increase in blood glucose level the opposite of insulin which decreases the level.
