Explain how the burning of food calories and the burning of wood are similar and how they are different.

    When calories are being burned, energy is being used. In order to burn wood, energy (heat) is being used. Differences, well when you burn calories, you lose weight but when you burn wood, the wood turns into ashes. Carbohydrates have chemical bonds that are a good source of energy for living things.
