    First, you should know that selectively permeable is anexpression that defines the property of a membrane that allows some molecules to croos in and out it but not others. A sentence that you can use to let this term clear is that " slectively permeable or the croos of a membrane by only some substances but not other is the process that underlyas osmosis"
