What is the primary cause of muscle growth during an appropriately structured resistance training program?

    The primary cause of muscle growth as result of resistance training program is muscle protein metabolism. When the muscle cells get worked up, the metabolism in the cells is increased which results to the increased production of proteins in the cells.
