This parathyroid hormone is vital for maintaining and controlling the levels of calcium in the our body. This parathyroid glands some times secretes too high or too low hormone leading to hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism. The hyperthyroidism is a state when large amount of hormone is secreted than required. Conversely hypothyroidism, occurs when the less amount of hormone is released.
