    This endurance events should last for 90 minutes ot more.

    The 90 minutes duration is the lenght of time it takes for normal storage of muscle glycogen to start to deplet.

    For shorter events; the muscle glycogen reduction is not a factor that causes fatigue Therefore; carbohydrates loading does not provide any support to performance.

    Carbohydrates loading refers to usually pasta feeding night preceding an energetic events, to extend the state of endurance in the athletes; by at least 20%.
