Is there a way to detect down syndrome/trisomy 21 in heterozygous carriers before they reproduce (become parents) ? Is there a way to detect it in a fetus? In a newborn child?

    I really don't think so, Ultra sounds don't show much. There might be something that scientists and doctors are working on. But we can not know for sure.
