Wind erosion occurs at a fast rate in desert that in places with a thick layer of vegetation covering the ground. Why do you think this is the case

    Vegetation keeps the soil intact and the dirt to become richer with more nutrients. Land with vegetation also usually has moist soil.

    Desert sand is not moist and has no plants to keep the soil healthy so desert sand is more prone the wind erosion
