    Some hypothesis claim that life started on Earth in extreme heated conditions known as hydrothermal vents. Prokaryotic organisms were the first to get evolved. Some prokaryotic organisms engulfed smaller prokaryotes and gave rise to eukaryotes. These eukaryotes over time formed multicellular organisms.
