What is causing the world's oceans to get warmer?

Atmospheric greenhouse gasses are trapping heat and raising the temperature of the land, the air, and the oceans.

Ocean water dissolves carbon dioxide in the air and becomes warmer in the process.

The oceans today are trapping more of the sun's heat than ever before in history.

The correct answer is the first statement.

    Explanation:

Ocean warming is caused by excess heat emitting from greenhouse gases that lead to climate change.

Greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, trap the heat and cause the increase in temperature of land, atmosphere, and ocean. temperatures increase cause bleaching of corals and the loss of breeding grounds for many marine organisms.
