    The fungi kingdom is placed independently in their own kingdom of equal rank with animal and plants, in fact, they are more closely related to animals than plants.

    Protists are Eukaryotes which means their cells have a nucleus and other membrane-bound organelles. Other than that they have very little in common You can think about protists as eukaryotic organisms that are neither animals nor plants, or fungi.

    Protists are unicellular organisms but some like algae are multi cellular.
