To survive. Drinking is very important and is required for animals and organisms to survive. It also keeps us hydrated.

Becase 70%% of our body is made up of water and when we sweat and excersice or over exert ourselves we lose that water and can eventually become dehyrated and sick

so we drink water to keep the amout of water in our body the normal amount and stay healthy
