Water will move from left side to right side in the U-tube

    Explanation:

Osmosis refers to the movement of the solvent molecule (water) from a low concentration of the solute to high concentration of the solute or from a high concentration of water to the low concentration of water.

The experiment was performed to demonstrate the osmosis using a permeable membrane which allows the movement of the solvent particles and U-tube.

When the left side of U-tube contained pure water and the right side contained concentrated solution with a high amount of the solute and low amount of water then the water will move from the higher concentration to lower concentration or from left side to right side.

Thus, Water will move from left side to right side in the U-tube.
