    e. Hexokinase

    Explanation:

The enzyme hexokinase catalyzes the first reaction of glycolysis. This enzyme catalyzes the transfer of terminal phosphoryl group from ATP and the formation of glucose 6-phosphate from glucose.

The hexokinases are allosterically inhibited by glucose 6-phosphate. When the cellular concentration of glucose 6-phosphate rises above the normal levels, the hexokinases are inhibited to balance the rate of formation of glucose 6-phosphate with its consumption.
