Why an animal cells does not have the organelle called the chloroplast but the plant cell does.

    Chloroplasts are found in only plant cells because they work to convert light energy into sugars that can be used by plants and are useless for animals. The whole process is called photosynthesis and it is all dependent on the green chlorophyll molecules in each chloroplast.
