How does proteolysis differ from hydrolysis and digestion?

    Both Hydrolysis and proteolysis are part of digestion process

    Explanation:

    Hydrolysis is a kind of chemical process in which the complex chemical compounds are broken down into simpler ones by splitting their chemical bonds and adding hydroxide anion and hydrogen cation.

    while proteolysis is the hydrolysis of proteins only in which the small proteins are broken down into amino acid.

    Hydrolysis and proteolysis is just a part of entire digestive process.
