After that combination of insulin takes place with the tyrosine receptor, which further stimulates the phosphorylation of various substrate proteins present inside the cell. This eventually causes the binding of vesicles comprising facilitative glucose transporters with the membrane of the cell. These transporters combine with the glucose present in the blood and make it move inside the cell.
