What is trade-off of using chlorofluorocarbons?

    Chlorofluorocarbons destroy the ozone layer. This, therefore, allows the penetration of Ultraviolet rays from the sun to reach the earth’s surface. UV rays are dangerous to life on earth due to their capacity to destroy DNA and cause mutations.
