    Allele frequency is the measure of incidence of a gene variant in population and it is usually expressed as a percentage or a proportion.

    Genetic drift is a mechanism of evolution caused by a change in allele frequencies due to establishment of a new population.

    There are two ways it can occur bottle neck and the founders effect.

    Bottle-neck is when a population becomes very small very quickly where as Founder effect is when a population colonizes a new location.
