    Explanation:

    Basophils are a type of white blood cells that arise from the bone marrow and can be found in most tissues. They respond to inflammatory reaction particularly allergic reaction and hypersensitivity reactions. When activated they degranulate to release histamine and proteolytic enzymes.

    They are related to connective tissues because they contain similar granules.
