Daphnia are considered to be a microcrustacean. explain the terms "micro" and "crustacean". give an argument as to why a daphnia might also be considered a macroorganism.

    As the word suggests, microcrustacean means 'a very small animal with a hard covering or exoskeleton'. Daphnia, otherwise known as water flea, grows only up to 5mm. Its size requires the use of a microscope which makes it qualified to be considered a microorganism.
