A new tissue engineering company would like to use autologous cell - seeded scaffolds as implants for the engineering of a few different joint tissues including cartilage, ligament, and bone. One of the company's consultants has recommended that the company invest in technologies to isolate chondrocytes from cartilage, ligament cells from ligament, and osteoblasts from bone so that cells can be grown individually in culture to increase their number before being seeded into scaffolds. What are the advantages and disadvantages of the consultant's recommendation?

    Advantages

    There will be no need of immune suppression as there will be no fiery reaction. A specific cell will be utilized for a specific deformity so money utilized will be less.

    Disadvantages

    Separate societies should be made for isolated cells. Thus, cost will be more as every one of the way of life will require distinctive medium. Confinement and refined is troublesome. Some may partition and some may not. We don't have the foggiest idea by what method will they carry on in the framework.
