How might mendel's conclusions have differed if he had studied two traits determined by alleles carried on the same chromosome?

    He w ould not have seen segregation of alleles and so would not have Mendel's Law of Segregation.

    A dihybrid cross would give in the F2 a ratio of 3:1 instead of 9:3:3:1. (assuming no crossing over)
