Erosion is the washing away of top soils, it affects mostly dispersible subsoil.

    To Agriculture

Erosion wash away top soils that are rich in important nutrient needed to plant growth. It leaches away nutrients that are retained in the soil, leads to loss of crops that's newly planted and its can result in formation of gully making it difficult to cultivate.

Erosion increases the amount of dust in the air thereby acting as polluntant.

Erosion can leads to destruction of building and houses along its pathway.

Erosion can also affect water bodies by the deposition of various eroded material in water bodies this reduces oxygen level and increases phosphorus and Nitrogen which makes its unsuitable for use.
