    Positive correlation

    Explanation

In statistics, Correlation measures the degree to which two variables are linearly related and it has direction either positive or negative.

Positive correlation shows the two variables move in the same direction an increase of one will in turn increase the other.

Negative, the two variables will move to the opposite direction. An increase in one variable decreases the other.

Hours of sleep and Exam scores are positively correlated. Since a decrease in the number of hours of sleep lead to the decrease in the exam score.
