    Elements are substances which have the same number of protein in it's Nucleic or the same atomic number.

    Atomic number is the same as protein number. E. g Copper represented as Cu

    Compounds are substances that are made up of two or more elements that are chemically combined together.

    Examples is salt which contain two elements which are sodium and chloride. It is some how called sodium chloride

    Mixture is a substance that is made up of two or more different substances that are physically combined together. Jelly bean is a mixture because it contain sugar, corn syrup, pectin or starch and some emulsifying agents that are mixed together physically.
