The answer is B. Secondary Succession

There are only two types of biological and ecological succession in plants. These are primary and secondary succession. Primary succession involves the new and unspoiled land which has never been occupied by vegetation. Examples are landforms from lava/magma.

Secondary succession involves land that already has soil and has previously been occupied by vegetation that has been destroyed by disturbances such as fire.
