The average water that an adult human body contains is 60%. Therefore, we can calculate the average water content by getting 60% of a person’s body weight with the units of liters and kilograms respectively. For example, the average adult person in the US weighs 88 kilograms (based on the year 2017 survey) so 60% of that value is 52.8 liters and if converted to gallons, the result is 13.9. Hence, we can say that the answer is false.
