Sudan solution is a dye that is used for staining of triglycerides or lipids. They react with triglycerides or lipids to stain red in color. Color changes can be determined by adding drops of sudan solution stain into a test tubes containing water and liquid sample (Fat), if the fat is present, an oily red layer will be observed on the surface of the solution (water and liquid sample).
