    If an animals pineal gland is destroyed, the animal's Biological clock and circadian rhythm will be offset.

    Explanation:

    Meaning that for example a hamster's diurnal/nocturnal activity will not be regulated, so if change in the cycle occurs, it will not be changed back, but just continue like that.
