Suppose there a crime scene where an adult male, adult female, and a younger child are all found deceased. Investigators at the scene wonder if the child is the offspring the two adults. A quick blood typing at the crime scene reveals that the adult male is blood type O, the adult female is blood type AB, and the child is blood type A. Use a Punnett Square to explain whether it is possible that the younger victim could be the offspring of the two adults only based on the blood types discovered.

. Is it possible that the parents could have a child with type A blood?

. Is it possible that the younger victim could be the offspring of the two adults based on blood type?
